Guided tours with a boat or wooden raft

Two different guided boat tours on the River Oker are offered to enable you to experience most of the works of art in the 3rd Braunschweig Light Trail 2010 from the water. At some places, guests will also be able to go ashore.

Fee: 16 € per adult, 8 € per child (6-12 years), children under 5 free, Group rates upon request!

Group size: 30 maximum of 30 or 40 participants (boat or wooden raft, respectively)

Duration: approx. 2 hours

Times: during school holidays (of the federal state of Lower Saxony) by request three tours, with a third tour on Fridays and Saturdays from 5 August::

Please note that tickets for the tours must be purchased in advance (by 6:00 pm) at Braunschweig ‘Touristinfo’. It may be possible to purchase last-minute tickets at the boat, but only if the minimum number of participants is reached, if seats are still available and if the tour takes place. We reserve the right to cancel a tour if the minimum number of passengers is not reached, in case of bad weather, or due to unforeseen construction or repair works on the Trail. If tours are cancelled due to bad weather, we will notify passengers of a new date. For this reason, please provide your address and telephone number when purchasing tickets.
